We meet once a month, bringing together an amazing group of talent development professionals to network with peers from the corporate, consulting and technology worlds. Every month we feature leading thinkers from across the talent development landscape that share practical tips you can use in your own position.

ATD SCC encourages participation from everyone with an interest in L&D, welcoming diversity of thought, approach and background.

Join us for our Virtual Programs!

The ATD SCC Board of Directors hopes that all members are healthy and safe during this pandemic. For the safety of those we serve, all live chapter events are cancelled until further notice. We will host virtual events via Zoom. We understand the importance of your work, and this global issue is proving the strength of this industry. Please also remember to practice self-care, while helping others.

Be safe!

To current Members and Friends of the Association of Talent Development, Southern Connecticut Chapter (Connecticut’s ONLY Chapter),
As the new Chapter President, I’d like to welcome you to the second half of 2022. We continue to successfully execute on our mission to give talent development professionals a forum to network, learn, and share. 2022 had a great start as we continued virtual programming, and we finally came together in-person in June for a successful networking event.

In this message, I will provide a chapter update, introduce you to the board and invite you to connect with the chapter and myself online.

Chapter update:

Membership is down for 2022 and financially the chapter has remained in good standing with small operating expenses due to virtual events.

The chapter’s programming remains strong, and the number of people attending the meetings has also remained strong. The top 4 reasons why people love attending our events are: 1. networking 2. learn what companies are doing 3. professional development 4. cutting edge research and insight.
